Visiting Bookmarks

The primary goal of hlg is to open bookmarks and visit them. It simply links you to the program you set to be the bookmark handler and stays out of your way.

This section is going to look at the different ways a bookmark can be visited by hlg as long as it is in your bookmarks database.

The methods are:

  • Getting the bookmark name as an argument; and

  • Using a single keystroke.

Of course this also takes into account the fact that a category or main home bookmark are already configured to run when no argument is passed. We talk more of the home bookmarks in this page, so in this section we will focus on using hlg with arguments.
